Description

N-vinylpyrrolidone (NVP) is a colorless or slightly yellow clear liquid. Its homopolymers and copolymers have inherent characteristics such as high polarity, water solubility, chemical stability, low toxicity, and cationic activity, and are therefore widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, coatings, inks, adhesives, etc.

Application

Polymer monomers for homopolymers and copolymers of polyvinylpyrrolidone

Reactive diluents for light cured or electron beam cured coatings

Package

200kg plastic drum

Safety

Avoid inhalation and contact with skin and eyes, and wear protective gloves when using.

Storage and use

N-vinylpyrrolidone (NVP) tends to self polymerize with increasing storage time and temperature. To prevent self polymerization, an appropriate amount of stabilizer is added to the product. The added stabilizer does not affect its polymerization performance, but it should be stored for no more than 90 days in a frozen state and no more than 45 days at 20 ℃; Crystalline products need to be melted with warm water at 30 ℃ during use, and steam heating cannot be used.
